It is not possible for a road rolling to simulate the experience of real world driving. It provides a linear load on a vehicle’s engine by applying reduced pressure from RPMs to redline. The time taken by it is approximately 45 seconds to reach the redline mark.

The continuous load on the turbocharger and an engine will naturally raise intake temperatures beyond the real world driving experience. These temperatures lead the engine to pull in the backward direction and limit the power.

• The fan present in the front region of the car provides a linear air flow to a tiny area of the frontal region of it. Real time driving conditions provide airflow that is directly proportional to the speed. With the increase of the speed, the air flow increases.
• The fans are pointed at the centre of the vehicle, so several intercoolers are kept on the left and right side of the car and fail to receive adequate cooling effect from the fans. This leads to the air intake temperature to be in accordance with the air temperature in the real world. The higher the temperature, lower will be the power output.
• Another reason is the heat soak that causes the ECU to go into an EGT “Exhaust Gas Temperature” protection mode. It reduces the requested value of the load and increases the fuel amount to cool things.
